For first time appointments. During the initial consultation we assess the nature of the issue/injury and how and why it occurred. We look at posture, movement and use a number of assessments to determine the best suitable treatment. Initial assessment normally includes some soft tissue treatment and exercise rehabilitation but full treatment will follow in subsequent appointments.

Sports and Remedial Therapy
(For specific pain or injury)

Using a variety of techniques depending on the nature of your injury/pain. These can include soft tissue release and mobilisation, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, electrotherapy, ultrasound, acupuncture and exercise therapy. Your first consultation will include a free postural assessment.

Myofascial Release

£42.00 (50 min)

Treatment focusing solely on the fascia in the body, myofascial release is a powerful specialised physical and manual therapy used for the effective treatment and rehabilitation of soft tissue and fascial tension and restrictions. Areas of fascial restriction will be focused on for release and to increase range of movement and reduce pain. Myofascial release is a very relaxing technique, leaving you feeling stress free and more flexible.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

£42.00 (50 min)

A therapeutic massage treatment, Lymphatic Drainage Massage uses very light pressure and long, gentle, rhythmic strokes to increase the flow of lymph and reduce toxins in your body. Beneficial for post trauma swelling, people suffering from fibromyalgia or lymphedema, Parkinson’s disease, and can also benefit those that are feeling generally tired and fatigued.

Initial Nutritional Therapy Consultation

£55.00 (50 min) – must be pre-booked and paid in full 7-days prior to appointment

Initial Nutritional Therapy consultation, discussing your dietary requirements and goals based on previously completed questionnaires and food diary. A holistic approach will be taken, looking at factors such as diet and lifestyle, motivators and stressors and any other factors that you may need support with to achieve your goals.

Includes follow up email with 3-week plan.

Most of us take our breath for granted, and why shouldn’t we, after all it’s something we do automatically. But like driving the car on a long journey and often you’re not really conscious of every aspect of the journey (we call this unconscious competence), we could be doing this more effectively. When we stop and focus on our breathing, we are in the ‘present’ moment. Often, even though we may not realise it, we are thinking of events that happened in the past, or something which may happen in the future. These thoughts are wasted moments and often linked with anxiety and stress, they take us out of the simple joy of being fully present in the moment. There are many ways of using the breath: to relax, to increase our awareness, to feel happier, to feel physically, mentally and emotionally better.
